UrbanistAI Kids

The latest development of our tool is UrbanistAI Kids, an AI-driven platform specifically designed to involve younger audience in urban planning. Recognizing the importance of considering children’s perspectives in city development, we focused on how they interact with urban environments and the innovative ideas they can contribute.

UrbanistAI has been adapted to be more child-friendly, featuring a user-friendly interface and custom prompts to encourage creative thinking. This platform enables children to design urban spaces, bringing their ideas to life in a way that is both imaginative and illustrative. More than just an introduction to city planning, it provides a practical experience with advanced AI technology, designed to ignite curiosity and foster innovation in young users.

UrbanistAI Kids has already shown its effectiveness in various settings. A pilot project at Harviala School, in collaboration with Tampere University, demonstrated its ability to enhance children’s creative and decision-making skills as they explored their ideas about school spaces. During Milano Digital Week, the tool allowed children to reimagine their school and city, turning their ideas into visual designs. Additionally, the platform was featured in an exhibition at the Estonian National Museum of Natural History, helping younger visitors envision sustainable urban futures.
